Processes: Phosphating
Phosphating: with this process which was formerly referred to as bonderising, a low soluble metal phosphate coating is deposited on metallic main castings (iron/steel). The phosphate layer can serve as a base surface to improve surface slip, to improve deformation due to cold temperatures with lubricants and as a temporary protection against corrosion in connection with anticorrosive agents.
