Anodic coating/ hard anodising: an electrolytic oxidation of aluminium and is often referred to as “coating”. It is a method used in surface technology for creating an oxidic protective coating on aluminium and aluminium alloys using anodic oxidation. In doing so, the surface properties of the aluminium are changed positively, i.e., the hardness as well as colour of the surface are affected which results in a considerable improvement in the wearing and corrosion resistance.
